REcentre presents DoDesign, an online design tool

The database includes not only information about materials, but also about technologies, companies and design examples. It distinguishes itself from existing databases by using parameters/search processes which are inherent in creative design processes. At the end of 2012, the DoDesign website and tool will go online.

Besides the development of the database, DoDesign also organises activities such as  company visits and workshops for designers to learn more about materials and techniques and to improve the interaction between industry and designers.

Thanks to the support of REcentre, the database will include companies and design examples from the Meuse-Rhine Euregion.
