Euregional schools tour with Luigi Ferrara

26.05.10 - 29.05.10

As Luigi Ferrara, director of the Institute without Boundaries, puts it: “Our aim is to produce graduates who, in the words of Buckminster Fuller, are ‘a synthesis of artist, inventor, mechanic, objective economist, and evolutionary strategist.’ To do so, we need to eliminate boundaries between design and other professions, and between designers and the local and global constituents they serve.

Luigi Ferrara from Institute without Boundaries was invited by REcentre as a speaker on Cumulus at Z33.

Cumulus is an international network of design schools from all over the world. They gather once a year to discuss reaserch topics, to network and visit new regions. This year, Genk was the place to be. REcentre invited Luigi Ferrara to join the event and meet up with the Euregional Design schools.
